Friday Evening
Shabbat worship begins at 6:30 pm on the first Friday of each month, and at 7:30 pm on each Friday thereafter. All of our services are family-friendly, and guests are always welcome. Plus, we have a great Oneg Shabbat afterwards!
Saturday Morning
In addition to b'nai mitzvah, Rabbi Joseph leads a very informal Saturday morning service and Torah study approximately twice each month, from 9:30-11:00 am. Please check the full calendar for our schedule of Saturday morning programs.

Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at 10:23AM Rabbi Ron Isaacs of Temple Sholom in Bridgewater, New Jersey visited Temple Shir Shalom on December 7-8. Rabbi Isaacs led Shabbat worship with Rabbi Joseph and Paul Richards, providing many insights into the beauty and meaning of Jewish prayer. Rabbi Isaacs' visit was supported by a grant from the JCNCF, and a gift from Mark and Janice Gold.

Bar Mitzvah November 17

The congregation is invited to celebrate with Evan Vogel and his family when he becomes bar mitzvah at our Shabbat service on Saturday, November 17, 2012. The service begins at 10:30 am, with music by Joseph and Lynn Goldovitz. Evan is the son of Ken and Sharon Vogel, and the grandson of David and Harriett Pawliger.
