Continuing their work together this year to increase access to quality Jewish adult education, Rabbi Michael Joseph of Temple Shir Shalom and Rabbi David Kaiman of Congregation B’nai Israel are announcing the Shir Shalom program component for 2017.
Temple Shir Shalom will host seven classes on successive Thursday evenings starting on January 19 at 7:00 pm to learn about “Real Housewives of the Bible: An Exploration of the Role of Women as Portrayed in Jewish Scripture.” Rabbi Joseph will teach six of these sessions; Rabbi Kaiman will guest teach one session on a date still to be determined.
All of these classes are, of course, open to members of both congregations and to the community at large. There may be small book and material fees. Please call the Temple Shir Shalom office for further information about the 2017 class sessions.
