B'nai Mitzvah

Jewish Family by Zurab Martiashvili

Shimon [the son of Rabban Gamliel] says: It is not what one says, but rather what one does, that makes all the difference in the world.

      ~ Pirke Avot 1:17

B'nai mitzvah preparation at Temple Shir Shalom is an intensely personalized experience during which Rabbi Joseph acts as the primary tutor for students and families. Each service is customized for the individual family within a broad range of options. B'nai mitzvah students-both young teenagers and adults-will learn not only to read the Hebrew prayers and weekly Torah portion, but also to understand and comment upon them. You can learn more about what to expect from the b'nai mitzvah experience at Temple Shir Shalom by meeting with Rabbi Joseph and by reading our B'nai Mitzvah guidelines.
